Down by the bay!
So, this is my first outfit post! I usually forget to get a picture when I get dressed, but I will make a conscious effort from now on. My boyfriend is a little confused as to why I would want a picture taken of my outfit...but he agrees to play photographer anyways. We went to the beach yesterday, and this is what I covered up with. Nothing that cute or complicated, but it kept me decent walking to and from the car!

Spotlight On: Pade Vavra
Pade Vavra is a Los Angeles jewelry designer, that creates amazing and unique pieces that have been seen on the likes of Rachel Zoe, Joy Bryan, Mila Kunis, and Gwyneth Paltrow. In addition to her extensive clientele, Pade's work has been featured in Lucky, W, Japanese Vogue, and WWD. One of my friends works for Pade, therefore I always get to admire the gorgeous jewels when I see her. I own 2 pairs of earrings by Pade, and the quality and detail that goes into each piece is amazing. This is a double shank ring my friend was wearing (on loan) from the Pade Vavra fine jewelry collection. It has a one-of-a-kind quartz with pave diamonds encrusting the top of the 14kt peach gold bands. It is truly amazing. The PADE by Pade Vavra collection is much more affordable, and both can be found here. I just had to gush over the stunning rock that I had the pleasure of ooh-ing and aah-in over tonight.

Pomp & Circumstance
It's been a of couple weeks since I graduated, and I have yet to post pictures from the big day. The ceremony was held at the Staples Center in LA, and it was PACKED! I wore the dress that I had posted earlier and it was a hit. Everyone looked great, and I got to show off my studded cap and gown (sorry I don't have a better shot of it. If you can tell, the collar of my gown has small silver studs, and the top of my cap had big ones). The picture on the bottom left is me and my dad! I love this picture, and because he is always behind the lens, I never get a photo of him. By the way, he hates this picture because he looks fat... I told him it wasn't the picture lol!

Summer Beauty Buzz
One of my passions in life (aside from fashion) has always been beauty. I love the cosmetics industry, and my dream as a dorky little girl, was to be a sleek MAC girl at Nordstrom. As an adult, I still find myself behaving like a kid in a candy store when I visit the makeup counters. Being the beauty geek that I am, I decided to compile a few key items that will help you survive the summer heat, while looking great. #1 on my list is Bumble & Bumble's famous Surf Spray. This texturizing hair cocktail will leave your hair with beachy waves, even if you are miles from the sea. Next up are 2 self tanners. Anyone who knows me will say that I am a self tanner junkie. If you look in my bathroom cabinet you will see a slew of orange and brown bottles, with the purpose of making me a little more bronzed. Out of all the tanners I have tried, these 2 seem to give the best results. Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel and Jergens Natural Glow Express really do the job. The last thing you need for your summer beauty routine is a great waterproof mascara. Benefit's Bad Gal waterproof mascara is great. The fat brush gets every lash coated, and plumps them up. Now go make all your friends jealous with your fabulous beachy look!
